All You Need To Know!

One of Activision’s most successful franchises, Call of Duty is coming to mobile. The Call of Duty: Warzone game has now been officially announced by Activision. Although details are limited at present, it’s thought that unlike previous mobile versions of COD, Call of Duty: Warzone will be an all-new game specifically designed for smart devices and could offer new features which differ from their console counterparts. Fingers crossed! Stay tuned!

The Future of Mobile Gaming Looks Promising

It’s no secret that there’s a ton of money in mobile gaming. In fact, there’s so much money in mobile gaming that some of it has spilled over into console and PC gaming—for example, Skylanders made $500 million on iOS and Android, even though it was originally developed for consoles. If you want a good idea for where big business is headed, look at these numbers: The global smartphone market size was $28 billion in 2010. And that number doesn’t even include tablets! So…what does all that mean? Money—lots and lots of money.

Mobile Games Are Exploding In Popularity

Last year, worldwide revenue from mobile games was $36.9 billion, according to a report. And it’s not just a few people playing these games; more than half (53 percent) of those surveyed play at least three hours per day and 64 percent prefer multiplayer action on mobile devices over other gaming platforms. Activision is banking on that explosive growth by bringing one of its most popular franchises – Call Of Duty – to smartphones and tablets with a new game called Call Of Duty: Warzone. With cross-platform play between iOS, Android and Windows 10 devices as well as specially designed controls for phones, COD is poised for an easy transition onto smaller screens.

The Year Ahead in Gaming

2022 is going to be a very big year for video games. There are many exciting titles coming, but our eyes are on Call of Duty: Warzone for mobile. It will bring everything players love about the PC and console versions into mobile. We’re looking forward to seeing how developers can make great use of first-person shooting gameplay in a mobile setting. One thing is certain, Call of Duty: Warzone will do well; after all, it has one of best brands in gaming behind it.

Final Thoughts!

It’s about time Activision gave its loyal Call of Duty mobile fans something to get excited about. There’s no arguing that there are plenty of great first-person shooters available on iOS and Android, but Call of Duty is easily one of (if not) most recognizable game franchises in history. As with all COD games, multiplayer was a huge draw in previous installments and with so many mobile players looking for a truly deep gaming experience on their devices, it only makes sense that someone would make a call for battle.
