Sony is still manufacturing the PS4

Sony has said that it’s still making new Playstation 4 consoles, but most stores no longer sell them. The new Playstation 5 isn’t out yet, and the PS4 should be in stores until then. But the makers of the PS4 are no longer making the console. They’re making the PS4 Pro instead. If you want to buy a new Playstation 4, it may be tough to find one in stores. Even online retailers like Amazon are selling them at higher prices than when they were initially released several years ago.

Why is it still being manufactured?

Over two years after its launch, Sony is still making new PlayStation 4 consoles. In a statement to The Verge, a representative for Sony confirmed that production of new systems has not ceased and that production is expected to continue throughout 2018. That’s in spite of dwindling sales. Both Microsoft and Nintendo have stopped making their respective current-generation consoles — Xbox One and Wii U — but there are so many older models around that it hasn’t been necessary for Sony to do so. There are also rumors circulating about an upgraded model of PS4, similar to last year’s PS4 Pro, but nothing has been confirmed by Sony at present. Its upcoming console, PlayStation 5, won’t be out until 2019 at least.

A brief about the PS4

PlayStation 4 is a home video game console developed by Sony Computer Entertainment. Announced as the successor to PlayStation 3 in February, 2013, it was launched on November 15 in North America, November 29 in Europe, South America and Australia; and February 22, 2014, in Japan. The PlayStation 4 Pro was released on November 10 2016 that is said to be twice as powerful as original model. The PS4 Slim was revealed at an event held on September 7 2016 with a release date set for September 15 of that year. It features reduced hardware specifications similar to those of SNES Classic Edition.

What Makes It Different From Other Consoles

The PlayStation 4’s biggest selling point is its extensive multimedia capabilities. Although Microsoft’s Xbox One has a Blu-ray drive and can play movie discs, Sony’s system is better suited for streaming music and video from your computer or mobile device. It also offers remote access to your home PC and stream games from your home desktop if you have a powerful enough rig. Finally, it includes an updated version of Sony’s Music Unlimited service with both free and paid tiers.

Final Thoughts

Sony has gone on record to say that it’s still producing new PS4 consoles. So if you feel like you can’t find one in a store, there are probably some sitting in warehouses all over the world, just waiting for someone to come along and buy them. So why aren’t they selling? It’s because video game sales have been struggling lately; so much so that shares of Nintendo recently fell below their price from last summer, before Pokemon Go was released! Meanwhile, software publisher Take-Two Interactive says its GTA V continues to sell at retail despite being available as a digital download since late 2014. Take-Two cites an uptick in GTA V PC sales specifically as part of its overall first quarter results announcement.

Nvidia’s New RTX 3080 Graphics Card With 12GB of Memory

The latest addition to Nvidia’s RTX family of graphics cards, the RTX 3080, promises to provide gaming at 4K resolution, which normally requires higher-end cards like the RTX 2080 or the RTX 2080 Ti. It also boasts 12GB of memory and three monitors, which will likely entice users looking to build powerful but cheap workstations for engineering or design software. How much will it cost? When will it be available? Read on to find out more about Nvidia’s new graphics card!…

Nvidia’s Big Announcement

The Geforce RTX series is here, and it’s based on a new ray-tracing technique called Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS). The company says that it has designed new Tensor cores to support DLSS. So how does DLSS work? As Nvidia explains it, DLSS leverages a deep neural network (DNN) trained to convert sequences of individual, 2D images into photorealistic, rendered 3D environments. In other words, DLSS takes an image and converts it into pixels to create objects within a game or application.

What Is Nvidia Up To?

All you need to know about Nvidia’s new graphics card : This year, Nvidia introduced a new type of gaming hardware called Turing. For more information on Turing, read our primer: What Is Nvidia Up To? This year, in addition to announcing Turing, Nvidia also announced two new products based on it: 3D-stacked memory and faster GDDR6 RAM. This post provides an overview of what we can expect from these updates. We look at how 3D-stacked memory works with current GPUs; how it might work with future GPUs; and what that might mean for resolution and frame rates.

The Details on The New Graphics Cards

The RTX 3080 has 8960 CUDA cores and 12 GB of memory. The upgraded memory also means this GPU has 20 percent more cumulative bandwidth over the original 10GB variant, because of its wider 384-bit memory bus. EVGA has priced its own RTX 3080 (12GB) at $1,249.99

So, Should You Buy A Gaming PC or a Console?

In truth, you can still get a great gaming experience from either a PC or a console. The real question is whether or not you should buy an Nvidia RTX series card for your gaming PC. The answer depends on how much performance you want from your system. If you just want to kick back and enjoy your games, then go ahead and stick with whatever graphics card you currently have. If you are ready to jump into 4K resolution with high-fidelity graphics and support HDR, ray tracing or AI hardware acceleration in full 8K resolution (where supported), then it’s time to pick up one of Nvidia’s new RTX cards.

Study says, a chatbot could help in preventing eating disorders

To say that chatbots are having a moment in the health and fitness community would be an understatement. These interactive digital assistants have been proven to help people find health-related information, manage their depression, and even get more active by playing games with them. It was only a matter of time before someone developed a chatbot that could help people struggling with eating disorders.

What is a chatbot?

A chatbot is an artificial intelligence agent or program designed to interact with human users via auditory or textual methods. It is a conversational agent that’s able to understand natural language input, and perform tasks as instructed by users. Facebook Messenger now has its own bot platform (similar to Apple’s Siri), which allows you to use services without having to launch an app or navigate a website. Just start a conversation in Messenger with one of Facebook’s bots. These bots are powered by artificial intelligence technology and human operators that can scale based on customer demand. Here’s how it works: Let’s say you want your grocery list saved for later – just tap on that button in FB Messenger and tell it what items you need to pick up at CVS when you’re on your way home from work.

How this Chatbot Works?

The chatbot is intended to support people with anorexia nervosa or bulimia nervosa (or those who think they might have one of these conditions) by moderating online conversations between them and their friends. People with ED can continue to access treatment through their existing healthcare provider, but often find it difficult to discuss food and body image issues openly with others. They may also be reluctant to seek out support for fear of stigma or judgement from their peers. In addition, healthcare professionals may find it challenging to recognize signs of ED in patients who don’t fit certain expectations about what someone suffering from an eating disorder should look like. The chatbot supports a variety of different communication strategies and can also assist in identifying warning signs.

How it can help in preventing eating disorders?

The chatbot first helps people recognize and understand their condition, which can lead to them seeking professional treatment. Based on that data and any other factors (such as information about eating habits), it then compiles diet tips that would be relevant to an individual. For example, if a person goes on-and-off diets frequently or has yo-yoed weight before in her life, it might recommend a gradual approach. If another user is primarily concerned with being skinny rather than maintaining health levels (e.g., someone at risk of bulimia), it might suggest more drastic measures like fasting or following only low-calorie meal plans.

Final Thoughts

This is an example of how advanced technology is already changing our lives for the better. When paired with cutting-edge medical science and precision nutrition, artificial intelligence has incredible potential to improve people’s health. The future of healthcare involves more data collection—but that doesn’t mean privacy concerns should be dismissed or forgotten about. We have to work toward a system that respects both individuals’ privacy and their medical information by making sure that it remains protected from unauthorized access or use.

Valve Steam Deck, the company’s new handheld gaming console, will be on store shelves by the end of February, according to two Valve spokespeople who were not authorized to comment on the record. The unofficial confirmation of the Steam Deck release date comes one month after Valve’s CEO Gabe Newell announced that the device would be shipping in late 2014. There was no indication of when that would be until now.

Valve’s Steam Deck Is Now Available for Pre-Order

If you’re looking for a fun, portable device that will let you play your favorite PC games wherever you go, Valve has some good news for you. Today, they announced that pre-orders are now open for their long-awaited Steam Deck hardware project. Steam Deck Is Valve’s First Move Into Hardware (And Yes, That Means VR)

Valve is getting into hardware! That’s according to an announcement from Valve, which revealed its first bit of standalone hardware: a Steam Deck that comes with a built-in screen and speakers. In a statement, Valve said it would start shipping out some Steam Decks before the end of February. Valve wrote, “We will continue supporting our current generation products. While we have nothing more to share about any type of new product at this time, we thought you might like to know where things stand. When we started building SteamOS, our vision was to bring open computing back to the living room”.

Steam Hardware Incoming?

It seems Valve is ramping up development for its own line of Steam hardware. According to an update, developers who have pre-ordered a Steam Deck are very close to receiving their developer kits. LG’s Smart TV now tracks your health

Lucky for all of us, technology continues to advance at an increasingly rapid pace and will likely continue to do so in the future as well. Because of this, we get better and better products such as smart TVs that can help improve our health. The most popular brand of smart TVs – LG – has recently introduced a new feature that helps track your fitness and health, called the Health Mate app, and it’s sure to be very useful to many people.

The LG Wellness Way

Most of us know that exercise is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. But how many of us are actually following through with it? And how many people who do follow through actually understand what to do? LG Electronics thinks it has found a solution: health tracking built right into its newest smart TVs. Say hello to The LG Wellness Way, a software platform that brings fitness and nutritional advice directly to your living room couch. It’s like having a virtual personal trainer that you never have to leave home to meet! The app works by tracking information from connected devices like heart rate monitors, pedometers, and smart scales; by logging food and calorie intake using apps like MyFitnessPal; or by using an existing smartphone GPS to track exercise, too.

How Does it Work?

LG has included a new Health app in its newest line of smart TVs, providing owners with a window into their health and fitness activity. Once you download LG’s Health mobile app to your smartphone, select Add account from within LG’s Health app and follow a few on-screen prompts. As you perform various activities—running, weight lifting, walking—your smart TV will track your progress through an array of sensors that can detect when you get up or sit down. After performing these actions for five minutes, you’ll earn points which act as incentives to keep going. This way, users are less likely to give up in frustration due to no immediate positive feedback.

Why is this Important?

The new platform, dubbed LG Health, lets you record information like how many steps you take a day and how much time you spend on physical activities. It also features sleep tracking capabilities that let you know just how long it takes for you to fall asleep at night. You can then use these insights to learn about your habits and establish new routines that are more likely to help lead to better health over time. While we’re all quite familiar with wearable gadgets like Fitbit trackers, LG’s approach is different in that it doesn’t require a separate device—you can get most of these same insights by simply buying a new television set.

What will it be used for?

The idea is that consumers can keep tabs on a number of aspects related to their wellbeing. The device will track a user’s heart rate, nutrition intake, stress levels and sleep patterns. Also featured are more standard features such as a virtual trainer and pedometer that can be synced with other services like Fitbit or Apple HealthKit. Whether users will take advantage of these tools remains to be seen, but if they do then it could help LG position itself as an innovator in its sector (TVs). Moreover, if results show that LG TVs have a positive impact on consumers’ well-being then there’s little doubt many competitors would jump at the chance to follow suit—thereby opening up another avenue for LG to capitalize on its lead.

Future Applications

With a full year of data behind it, LG says its system is smart enough to identify patterns. You’ll be able to look back and see how much time you spent sedentary and get suggestions for improving that over time. I love how forward-thinking LG is with health tracking in its TVs! Just a few years ago, we were reading about biometric sensors in phones and hearing about tech companies implanting microchips into employees—now our TVs are doing it for us. This isn’t all just science fiction: whether you realize it or not, there’s innovation happening right in front of us every day. This is just one example; use these prompts to brainstorm examples of where you see innovation—or think you could help innovate—at work.

Samsung’s Next Tablet Could Include a 14.6-inch ‘Ultra’ Model

What’s the future of Samsung’s lineup of tablets? Rumors are swirling that Samsung will be releasing new versions of its Galaxy Tab S line of tablets in the near future, and they may even introduce a brand-new Ultra model with a large 14.6-inch display and slim bezels. If true, this could put it in direct competition with Apple’s iPad Pro, which has an 11-inch display and 9.7-inch display model to choose from. Here’s what we know about Samsung’s upcoming tablet lineup so far.

Samsung’s Past Tablets

Samsung has been a major player in the tablet space for years, and its devices have evolved over time to add more power, longer battery life, and higher screen resolutions. Even so, it has always relied on full-size tablets with 10 inches or larger screens. The trend might be changing soon: according to VentureBeat, Samsung could debut a new lineup of tablets at IFA 2018 that includes an Ultra model with a 15.6-inch display and a notch cutout for your camera and sensors.

How Big Will the Screen Be?

We know that tech companies are always on the hunt for new technology, but would you believe that Samsung is already planning for 2022? Apparently, that’s when Samsung may release its next tablet — one with a screen so big it’ll wrap around both sides of your hand! So just how big could it be? If rumors are true, pretty darn big: about 0.4 inches bigger than last year’s model and roughly 0.02 inches larger than an iPad Mini 3 — making it incredibly easy to hold in one hand and comically bulky if you try using two hands at once!

What Kind of Notch Will It Have?

The next smartphone from Samsung could feature two notches on its screen – one for its front camera and another for its in-display fingerprint sensor. If that sounds ridiculous, don’t worry: it is. While we’ve already seen multiple notch concepts for smartphones with dual front cameras, such as what Vivo showed off.

How Much Will It Cost?

It should be noted that Samsung hasn’t officially announced any new tablet plans yet, so it’s unclear how much Samsung 2022 will cost or what kind of specs we can expect. Given that most top tablets today come with high-end quad-core processors, we’d wager that Samsung will stick to what works (for now) and include something similar in its next tablet lineup as well. Of course, it could always switch things up and go with a dual-core processor—but don’t count on it if you’re looking for speed…and if you are looking for speed, keep in mind that newer isn’t always better when it comes to chips: Android L is optimized for use with 64-bit architecture but most phones won’t get an update until next year at least.

Final Thoughts

Design, Specs and Release Date : Samsung’s first tablet was unveiled in 2011 and brought us an exciting slate of features. Since then, Samsung has released several versions of its Galaxy Tab line that have featured bigger screens, better performance and more advanced specifications. With rumors suggesting that 2019 could be an off year for new smartphones, it’s possible that we’ll see a similar strategy with tablets as well. If so, it’s not hard to imagine a big slate from Samsung, including some exciting features—and one big notch! That would make for one pretty awesome tablet from our favorite smartphone maker in 2022.

10 Accessories Every Xbox Owner Needs

Microsoft’s latest console, the Xbox Series X, was released two months back. If you’re lucky enough to have one (or know someone who does), you’ll want to make sure you have all the accessories that come with it. From new controllers to Bluetooth headsets, we’ve compiled the ultimate list of must-have accessories that every Xbox owner needs in their living room. Enjoy!

1) Xbox Wireless Controller

The controller is a big part of why people love to play games on their consoles. That’s why Microsoft made sure its Wireless Controller for Xbox One was even better than ever for gaming on your TV, and then made it more comfortable and intuitive with an improved design. The new standard is better than ever, boasting a host of improvements over its predecessor—from Impulse Triggers that bring fingertip vibration feedback to a whole new level to a streamlined design with textured grip, expanded wireless range and Bluetooth technology for PC compatibility. A standalone D-pad that delivers precise control; Hair Trigger Locks for quicker firing in FPS games; and so much more. This really is the best controller we’ve ever made.

2) Power A Charging Stand

The Power A Charging Stand, priced at $20, is a must-have if you own an Xbox One S or are thinking about buying one. The stand props up your console while also supplying power to charge both of your controllers. And you can put them in either portrait or landscape mode depending on what’s most comfortable for you. The stand connects through USB so you don’t have to worry about plugging in any cords and lets you quickly check notifications and access menu items without having to dig through menus on your TV screen. If you own multiple consoles, it’s also easily stackable so that all of your devices are charging and easy to reach when gaming with friends or family members.

3) Mixer Stream Deck

Mixer is making it easier to stream with its latest product, a small, tabletop controller called Stream Deck. The device allows you to control everything from your chat windows to music-streaming software by tapping different commands on a number of customizable buttons and dials. It’s a bit pricey—$200 USD—but if you do any sort of live streaming or are just trying to organize your work space, it could be worth considering.

4) Xbox One Media Remote

Want to control your TV without getting up? The Xbox One Media Remote lets you do just that. Controlling your cable box and other entertainment devices is simple, thanks to Kinect integration. You can even command your system using voice commands while you’re lounging on the couch. There are also buttons for pausing and rewinding media, as well as adjusting volume. It’s a must-have accessory for every X owner who loves watching movies or sports on their console.

5) Xbox Wireless Headset

The new wireless headset is an all-new model, meaning you don’t have to worry about connecting it to your controller. This handy piece of tech lets you play a game and talk to your friends simultaneously. It even works with Skype so you can video chat with your fellow gamers no matter where they are. Plus, you’ll never miss out on any of those important announcements from other players or game developers – just hit a button on your earpiece and say Xbox, record that. The sound is crisp and clear when watching movies on Netflix or Amazon Prime Instant Video, but can also be directed towards one player in a group conversation if need be.

6) Xbox Elite 2 Wireless Controller

The Elite 2 is a top-of-the-line controller with customizable, interchangeable thumbsticks and D-pads, along with two redesigned paddles on the back. The main difference between it and last year’s model is that Microsoft has added an extra half inch of range of motion to its stick tension system. It’s more comfortable to hold now, but if you find yourself in a firefight against some 12-year olds who are camping for days on end, you can crank it up for even more precise movements. A bit pricey at $150, but worth every penny if you play games competitively.

7) Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

Even if you’re not a gamer, an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription is one of those things that can feel like a necessity. It’s basically a Netflix-like service for video games and allows you to download hundreds of titles to your system at no extra cost beyond your monthly subscription. At $14.99/month it’s not cheap, but with as many games as you can play there’s almost never an excuse to leave home (and plus—you’ll always have something to do when stuck in traffic!). For any serious gamers out there, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate should be on every holiday wish list.
